In this study, we aimed to investigate the availability of data and the contributions of authors in a research paper. The authors declared that there is no conflict of interest and made the data available upon request from the corresponding author. We analyzed the article using the CRediT (Council of Science Editors) authorship contribution statement, which defines different categories of authorship, such as conceptualization, methodology, formal analysis, investigation, writing, and visualization.
We identified five authors in this study, each contributing to a specific aspect of the research:
- Raul Guedert: Conceptualization, Methodology, Formal Analysis, Investigation, Data Curation, Writing – Original Draft, Writing – Review & Editing, Visualization.
- Daniella de Lourdes Luna Santana de Andrade: Methodology, Investigation, Data Curation, Writing – Review & Editing.
- Jéssica Rodrigues da Silva: Formal analysis, Investigation, Writing – Review & Editing.
- Guilherme Brasil Pintarelli: Resources, Supervision, Writing – Review & Editing.
- Daniela Ota Hisayasu Suzuki: Resources, Supervision, Project administration, Writing – Review & Editing.
Our analysis revealed that each author contributed to the research in a distinct way, highlighting the importance of recognizing and acknowledging individual contributions in scientific publications. We also emphasize the need for clear documentation of data availability and authorship contributions to ensure transparency and integrity in scientific research. By using the CRediT statement, we can provide a more detailed and accurate assessment of the contributions made by each author, helping to promote responsible and ethical practices in scientific publishing.
