Stressed Out: Analyzing Reddit Posts and Comments From Bachelors, Graduates, PhD Students, and Professors

This study aims to identify factors contributing to academic stress among students on Reddit, using topic modeling and word clouds. The analysis revealed that bachelors write frequently about job-related topics, while graduate and Ph.D. students discuss research, supervision, and defense of their dissertation. Professors also vent about these issues, indicating a shared experience among academic staff. The study used preprocessing and feature extraction techniques to prepare the text data for machine learning classification.
